Brackendale Eagle Float Tour, Squamish, British Columbia, Canada CM11-20

Brackendale Eagle Float Tour, Squamish, British Columbia, Canada CM11-20

Description : Brackendale, just 10 minutes north of Squamish, has become known as the wintering bald eagle viewing capital of the world. From early November through February, 3,000 to 4,000 eagles descend on the Squamish Valley to feast on spawning chum salmon. Peak numbers occur mid-December to mid-January.

Float in a safe, dry, stable river raft through the ecological reserves of the Cheakamus and Squamish rivers, silently viewing hundreds of these magnificent birds. From December to the end of February up to 1000 eagles can be seen during the two-hour float down the Cheakamus and Squamish Rivers. Afterwards, relax with homemade soup and bread by the fireplace.
