Grizzly Bear, BC Wildlife Park, Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada 09

Description : Bears Shardic and Sheba have been a feature at the park since 1985. Orphaned as cubs in the Bella Coola area in 1975, they were taken to the University of British Columbia for study. As they could no longer be released into the wild, they were given into the care of local wildlife park.

A new grizzly bear exhibit is just one aspect of a $10 million vision for the park, all of which is contingent on money being raised.
